DANCE IMPROVISATION CLASSES in Amsterdam

Get out of your head, into your body. Express yourself.
Explore what your body can do. Feel the healing power of movement and dance.

In this class we explore movement through guided dance improvisation exercises.
We won’t learn ‘dance steps’ or a ‘choreography’ in this class.
Dance improvisation is the process of spontaneously creating movement.
No experience needed for this class.

I will guide the dancers through different exercises, so we can explore the possibilities of our body. We research how we can use dynamics and energy or translate emotions into movement.
We play with the space around and between us. We move through ways to express ourselves.
